GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS DATA PROTECTION NOTICE
for employees of G&W Transport Hungary Ltd.
Our data protection notice explains how we handle, collect, and use the personal data of employees of Weinhardt Logistic Ltd. The security of employee data is important to us, and we conduct its processing in compliance with applicable legal regulations, especially the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679.
G&W Transport Hungary Ltd., as your employer, hereby informs you as follows regarding the processing of your personal data:
- Data Controller
Concerning your employment relationship, G&W Transport Hungary Ltd., your employer, acts as the data controller:

- Purpose of Personal Data Processing and Legal Basis for Processing
G&W Transport Hungary Ltd. processes the personal data of its employees for the purpose of establishing, fulfilling, maintaining, and terminating the employment relationship.
Based on legal authorization and to fulfill legal obligations (primarily under the Labor Code Act of 2012 (hereinafter referred to as the "Labor Code") Sections 10(1) and (3), as well as other applicable tax, social security, occupational health and safety, and other relevant laws), G&W Transport Hungary Ltd. processes your personal data. This data primarily includes: employee's name, birth name, place of birth, date of birth, mother's birth name, residence, place of stay (if different from residence), tax identification number, social security identification number (TAJ number), information on whether the employee qualifies as a newcomer or retiree, retiree registration number (in case of a retired employee), ID card number, official identification number for residence verification, bank account number, age, marital status, number and birthdate of children, and their tax identification numbers, whether the employee claims family tax allowance, whether they have another employment (second job), possession of a rehabilitation card, the employee's educational background, qualifications, nationality, job responsibilities, salary, occupational health certificate, exit paper from the previous workplace, deduction-related information on the employee's income as determined by court, other data specified by law related to the job, based on the legal authorization to request a certificate of good conduct.
To fulfill its legal obligations, G&W Transport Hungary Ltd. may make copies of documents containing the employee's personal data as specified in the law.
For the purpose of asserting the legitimate interests of G&W Transport Hungary Ltd., data related to employer surveillance is recorded as follows: the employer may provide the employee with information technology and other tools (primarily computer, email account, internet access, phone, personal vehicle) for work purposes. Information on the conditions of use and acceptable usage of assets owned by the employer is detailed in the employment contract and the relevant policies of the employer. The employer is entitled to monitor the employee's use of these IT and other tools in accordance with data protection laws and Labor Code Sections 11(1)-(2). If the employer chooses to exercise this monitoring option, the details of the monitoring and the data processing related to it will be specified in a separate regulation provided to the employees.
For communication purposes, G&W Transport Hungary Ltd. may process the following data of employees based on their voluntary consent: private phone number, private email address, mailing address, and contact information of the employee's next of kin to be notified in case of emergency (name and phone number). If you choose not to provide this data, you will not suffer any legal consequences, but we may be unable to contact you or your next of kin if necessary.
- Recipients of Personal Data
The personal data of G&W Transport Hungary Ltd.'s employees covered by this information may only be known to relevant employees of the organization within the HR, payroll, and financial departments, to the extent necessary for the performance of their duties.
G&W Transport Hungary Ltd. may disclose or make accessible the personal data of employees to partners engaged for employer tasks, as recipients. The list of recipients and their activities is included in Annex 1 to this notice.
- Storage Period of Personal Data
In cases where processing is necessary to fulfill the legal obligations of the employer, G&W Transport Hungary Ltd. retains the personal data of employees for the duration required to fulfill the legal obligations (e.g., payroll, occupational safety, etc.).
For processing based on the legitimate interests of the employer, the data processing period lasts until the expiration of the enforceability of rights and obligations arising from the employment relationship or until the deadline specified in a separate information or regulation concerning that data processing (e.g., use of cameras, monitoring of IT tool usage).
Personal data processed solely based on voluntary consent is deleted upon withdrawal of consent by the concerned party or at the termination of the employment relationship.
- Data Security
In connection with the processing of personal data, G&W Transport Hungary Ltd. ensures the security of employee personal data and takes all expected technical and organizational measures and establishes procedural rules necessary to comply with applicable legal regulations. Accordingly, appropriate measures are taken to protect data, especially against unauthorized access, alteration, transmission, disclosure, deletion, or destruction, as well as against accidental destruction and damage and the inaccessibility resulting from changes in technology.
- Your Rights as a Data Subject, Complaint and Remedial Rights
You have the right to request access to, correction, deletion, or restriction of processing of your personal data. You may also object to the processing of such personal data. In the case of processing based on voluntary consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time. Similarly, for processing based on voluntary consent or if processing is automated, you may request that your personal data provided to G&W Transport Hungary Ltd. be received in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, and that this data be transmitted to another data controller. When exercising your right to data portability, you have the right to request direct transmission of personal data between data controllers if technically feasible. However, this right to data portability does not apply if the processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority and does not adversely affect the rights and freedoms of others.
In case of unlawful data processing, you may object to the data processing by postal mail or email using the contact details provided in point 1. In case of unlawful data processing, you may also file a lawsuit against the Data Controller at the competent court. The provisions contained in this notice and its annex may be modified in accordance with the current labor and data protection laws, and the employer is entitled to unilaterally amend them.
